Volcanoes

A volcano is a place on the Earth's surface (or any other planet's or moon's surface) where molten rock, gases and pyroclastic debris erupt through the earth's crust. When the Volcano erupts, lava comes through the earth's surface. Lava can be thick and slow-moving or thin and fast-moving. Rocks also come with the Lava, they come in many forms. There are ash, cinders and pumice.

Avalanche

What happens is an Avalanche??

Avalanches are a very real, because the kill thousands of people, can be unpredictable and are very dangerous.

Avalanches occur when the gravity pushing the collection of snow at the top of the slope is greater than the strength of the snow itself. A change in temperature, a loud noise, or vibrations are all that are necessary to trigger one of these snowfalls that begin at a "starting zone." The avalanche continues downslope along the "track" and ultimately the avalanche fans out and settles in the "runout zone."
